We chose Oboz for their style and comfort and have found them to be true on the hill boots and shoes.
Built from a team of big-brand-footwear employees, Oboz founded their shoe company built on one principle:
True to the Trail.
That phrase keeps the company headquarters based in trail-crazy Bozeman, Montana; makes
planting a tree for every pair solda no-brainer; and guides both their business ethics and shoe design process, with technology inspired by common sense, experience, and a healthy aversion to cutesy gimmicks.
Every pair of footwear Oboz make comes complete with their
premium O FIT Insole™ for unmatched fit, feel and performance. Find out why insoles matter and how our technology delivers on our fit promise, every step of the way..
The
Oboz BDry technology keeps feet dry through puddles, mud, rain and sweat, thanks to three key components:
1. Proprietary tape-sealed polyurethane film bootie, which waterproofs shoes but still lets sweat escape.
2. Hydrophobic upper materials, meaning the rest of the shoe won't absorb water.
3. Textile lining inside BDry boots wicks sweat away, so feet stay dry from the inside out.
The molded heel counter helps shoes maintain a snug, comfortable heel hold over time, keeping their shape even through miles of abuse.
from the Oboz 2021 sustainability report,
“This year, the Oboz journey was about taking steps towards B Corp certification, embarking on our first-ever materiality assessment and our first carbon footprint audit. This work helps us understand where we have the most impact and where we need to focus our improvements – knowledge that will become the basis for our first proper sustainability strategy.”
