My two favourite activities are camping and mountain biking.
With camping I like luxury and to be comfortable. Some of my favourite kit that we stock is:-
Outwell Dreamcatcher 10cm Airbed - (I have the double) - No more losing air while you sleep, no faffing with pumps (self-inflating), no more stiff back in the morning -
Feuerhand Baby Special 276 Hurricane Lantern - Add some luxury to any campsite, incredibly bright & efficient lighting option.
Netherton Foundry 10" Glamping Frying Pan - So good I use it almost daily at home and one of the first things to be packed when camping - like myself gets better with age!!
Petromax Atago - Why take a BBQ and a Firepit camping when you can just take the Atago. A lightweight, easy to set up, low smoke BBQ/Firepit
Mountain Biking is a high intensity sport and I can go from cold to hot very quickly, so I need clothing that breathes well and will keep me warm even when wet. Some of my favourite kit is:-
Paramo Bentu Windproof - A hard-wearing windproof with Paramo's lightweight pump-liner in the hood and across the shoulders and back of the neck. Great for keeping the wind chill at bay and shrugging off light showers.
Paramo Torres Medio Gilet - A lovely insulating layer that can go over wet clothes to add warmth - Packs small into its own pocket and is a breeze to wash at home with Nikwax Tech Wash.
Woolpower Lite Crewneck Base layer - Starts cold, but as soon as you start moving becomes a toasty warm base layer that works even when wet and doesn't smell like synthetic base layers can.
Lowe Alpine Mesa 6 - Perfect for when you don't need to take loads of gear and no more sweaty back syndrome! Surprisingly spacious and comfortable hip-bag, big enough for a light jacket, a small first aid kit and some tools and snacks
