Carving, House Building and Carpentry Axes

Gränsfors Bruks Carving Axes have been specially developed for use for carving and wood sculpting. These axes have been designed in collaboration with expert woodsmen and carpenters.

Traditional tools have provided a template for the models that Gränsfors Bruk now produce, but they have been modified and developed in partnership with specialists and professionals to meet the demands of today’s users. Each type of axe is designed for a specific function, hence the considerable variation in axe head design, grind and handles.

All of Gransfors Bruks Carving Axes, come with a sheath of vegetable-tanned leather and a copy of The Axe Book.

Great for slicing cuts on greenwood, carving axes are used for roughing out spoons and bowls along with more detailed work.
